GREENSBORO - Michael Brennan (T1/-16) recorded eight birdies against one bogey (No. 2) for a 7-under (63). He holds his second 54-hole lead/co-lead in an individual stroke-play event and is 1-for-1 to date, winning the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship.
Brennan’s 54-hole score of (194) marks his career best (previous: 196 twice, 2025 Bank of Utah Championship/Won, 2026 Rocket Classic/T15). He seeks his second PGA TOUR title in his 29th career start.
Beau Hossler (T1/-16), the 18-and-36-hole leader, carded a third-round (66) to share the lead with Brennan. Hossler holds his fifth 54-hole lead/co-lead in an individual stroke-play event. Yet, he’s 0-for-4 to date, most recently finishing T4 at the 2022 Valero Texas Open.

2022 Wyndham Championship winner Tom Kim (3rd/-15) looks to become the 11th multiple winner of the event and fifth player this season to have multiple wins (2026 Genesis Scottish Open), joining Matt Fitzpatrick (3), Chris Gotterup (3), Wyndham Clark (2), Cameron Young (2); Kim is the youngest winner of the Wyndham Championship after his victory in 2022 at 20 years, 1 month, 17 days
Greensboro resident and Sedgefield Country Club member Alex Smalley (T4/-14) seeks his first PGA TOUR title in his 148th start (owns two T2 finishes this season: Zurich Classic of New Orleans, PGA Championship).
Following the Wyndham Championship, the Top 70 players in the FedExCup standings will qualify for next week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship (the first of three events in the FedExCup Playoffs):
