SAN ANTONIO - Robert MacIntyre (1st/-14) - At 14-under (130), MacIntyre set the lowest opening 36-hole score since the Valero Texas Open moved to TPC San Antonio in 2010. Si Woo Kim (2019) and Brian Harman (2025) held the previous low score of 12-under par.
MacIntyre’s (130) equals his second-lowest opening 36-hole score, set previously at the 2024 RBC Canadian Open (won) and the 2025 TOUR Championship (T17). His lowest score of (126) led to a runner-up finish at the 2025 BMW Championship.
Interesting that MacIntyre might become the third straight lefty to win the Valero Texas Open (Akshay Bhatia/2024, Brian Harman/2025).
Lucas Glover (shoulder injury), Webb Simpson WD during the second round
