Fleetwood Wins! - Final Round Wrap-Up of 2025 TOUR Championship | ATL

ATLANTA - England’s Tommy Fleetwood finally broke the chain. Now, Fleetwood can go his own way. Even his biggest rivals at the 2025 TOUR Championship said, “Fleetwood played over my head.’ And, as the Englishman clinched the $10 million first prize, it was said that Fleetwood made ‘PUTTIN fun.
The 2025 FedExCup Champion posted a final-round (68) to win his first career PGA TOUR title in his 164th start at the age of 34 years, 7 months, 5 days. I/n doing so, he earned a five-year PGA TOUR exemption (thru 2030).
Fleetwood entered the week ranked No. 5 in the FedEx Cup standings, the highest-ranked player in the FedEx Cup without a win this season. He is the first player since Chad Campbell (2003) to make the TOUR Championship his first career PGA TOUR victory. Fleetwood will move to No. 6 in the official World rankings.
The 2021 FedEx Cup champion, Patrick Cantlay (T2/-15), posted a (71) on Sunday in search of his second career FedEx Cup title. Cantlay led the field in Strokes Gained: Approach the Green (6.068) and Strokes Gained: Tee to Green (5.164)
Russell Henley (T2/-15) carded a (69) to post all four rounds in the 60s for the first time in five career appearances at the TOUR Championship. It marked his second consecutive Top Five finish at the TOUR Championship.
Reigning FedEx Cup Champion, Scottie Scheffler (T4/-14), posted (68) on his final round for his 21st consecutive trip in the 60s, tying the record set by Cantlay. Scheffler was seeking to become the first player to win back-to-back FedEx Cup titles.
Corey Conners (T4/-14) posted (62) for his low 18-hole score of the season by four strokes and his low 18-hole score in 20 career rounds at East Lake Golf Club.
