HONOLULU - Making his SONY Open debut, Patrick Fishburn is seeking his first PGA TOUR win in his 28th start. His best finish to date were two third place finishes (2024 Barracuda Championship and 2024 Procore Championship). Fishburn carded his lowest 36-hole score on TOUR of (130). His previous best: (131) (T8/2024 RSM Classic).
Denny McCarthy is seeking his first PGA TOUR win in his 191st start. McCarthy’s best finish came two times when he finished 2nd at the 2023 Memorial Tournament presented by Workday and 2024 Valero Texas Open. McCarthy holds his third career 36-hole leads/co-leads but is 0-for-2 to date. McCarthy is underway with his fourth appearance at the Sony Open in Hawaii with his best finish being a T24/2024.
