DUBLIN, Ohio - J.T. Poston (P1/-12) earned his fourth career PGA TOUR victory in his 257th start at the age of 33 years, 6 days. His PGA TOUR wins (4): 2019 Wyndham Championship, 2022 John Deere Classic, 2024 Shriners Children’s Open, and this week’s 2026 Memorial Tournament presented by Workday.
Poston’s even-par 72 in the final round included birdies on three of his final five holes (Nos. 14, 15 and 18) as he moved to No. 32 in the FedExCup.
Poston entered the week without a finish inside the Top 20 in 13 starts this season.
Poston won the 11th playoff in Memorial Tournament history and the first since 2023 (Viktor Hovland def. Denny McCarthy).
It was the fifth playoff on TOUR this season (WM Phoenix Open/Chris Gotterup def. Hideki Matsuyama, Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard/Akshay Bhatia def. Daniel Berger, RBC Heritage/Matt Fitzpatrick def. Scottie Scheffler, Charles Schwab Challenge/Russell Henley def. Eric Cole).

June 7, 2009 - Tiger Woods birdied the last two holes to win The Memorial by one shot over Jim Furyk. It was Woods’ fourth victory at the tournament founded by Jack Nicklaus.
