PGA Tour Brunch - The AmEx - (R-4)
@PGATourBrunch Previews Final Round of the American Express
The American Express Tournament Notes
Tony Finau played his way to a 54-hole lead/co-lead for fourth time in his career without converting prior three for a win. Finau is among three players tied for 54-hole lead and that is the most at The American Express since 2015 when four players were tied and Bill Haas was crowned champion.
In Max Homa’s four previous starts at The American Express, he’s missed the cut three times and finished T-48 in 2020.
Si Woo Kim’s 5-under (67) marked his second bogey-free round this week (R-1 (66) on the Stadium Course).
Richy Werenski heads into the final round at (-14) which is good for fourth place, one off the lead. He carded his first bogey of the week on his 49th hole (No. 13), his only bogey through 54 holes, en route to 7-under (65).
The final round will be played at the PGA WEST Pete Dye Stadium Course.
