Following next week’s Wyndham Championship (July 31–Aug. 3), the top 70 players in the FedExCup standings will earn a spot in the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

July 24, 1967 - Don January won his only major when he took the PGA Championship at Columbine Country Club in Colorado. January won an 18-hole playoff against Don Massengale, shooting a (68) to Massengale’s (71).
