On This Day in Golf History
March 15, 2015 - Jordan Spieth won his second PGA Tour title when he holed a 28-foot putt on the third playoff hole to win the Valspar Championship in Palm Harbot, Florida. Spieth’s birdie on the par 3 17th at the famed Copperhead Course at the Innisbrook resort came after Sean O’Hair and Patrick Reed missed their marks with their second shots, with Reed’s bunker shot coming within four feet of the hole. - Courtesy of Randy Walker, Author of On This Day in Golf History, available via Amazon.com and by clicking HERE
