Tournament Notes and Quotes:

The SONY Open in Hawaii is traditionally the first full-field event of the new year on the PGA Tour. Nestled in behind the limited-field Sentry Tournament of Champions, it provides PGA Tour fans with “Prime Time” golf on TV in the East for the second consecutive week.

Each week, PGA Tour Brunch brings you a “First Look” on Wednesdays with a look at the basics of the tournament, the field, the odds, and course/tournament information, including TV and Radio coverage schedules. It is structured to save time, help you navigate the offerings on PGA Tour events and serve as a reminder for all info, broadcasts and even some breaking news (like last week’s LPGA Commissioner announcement).

While PGA Tour Brunch is currently available to readers to sample, it is a subscription-based offering here on our Substack site and we’re currently offering a 2021 New Year’s discount for full subscriptions. Going forward, those with free sign-ups will only receive two of the six e-News missives each week. Please sign-up here for your discount which expires this weekend (Sunday):
