Final Round Coverage of the 2026 Genesis Scottish Open
Note/Summary: Due to fog in the area, round three was suspended at 10:45 a.m. BST and resumed at 1:10 p.m. (delay of 2 hours and 25 minutes). The third round was suspended again at 7:55 p.m. due to fog in the area and eventually suspended for the day with a resumption time scheduled for 7:00 a.m. Sunday. The third round resumed Sunday at 7:00 a.m. and was completed at 9:43 a.m. The final round began as scheduled, featuring groups of three from 10:25 a.m. – 2:50 p.m. off No. 1.
NORTH BERWICK (Scotland) - Scotland’s own Robert MacIntyre (T1/-12) is seeking his third PGA TOUR victory in his 94th start (2024 Genesis Scottish Open, 2024 RBC Canadian Open). He holds his fourth 54-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR and is 1-for-3 to date in converting to victory (RBC Canadian Open).
MacIntyre won the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open by one stroke over Adam Scott and joined Colin Montgomerie (1999) as players from Scotland to win the Genesis Scottish Open.
Min Woo Lee (T1/-12) is seeking his second PGA TOUR victory in his 84th start (2025 Texas Children’s Houston Open). He holds his second 54-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR (Texas Children’s Houston Open/Won). He’s banked three Top-10s in 15 starts this season (best: T2/AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am).
Matt Fitzpatrick (T1/-12) is seeking his sixth PGA TOUR victory and fourth this season in his 193rd start (Valspar Championship, RBC Heritage, Zurich Classic of New Orleans). He holds his sixth 54-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR and is 3-for-5 to date in converting to victory (2022 U.S. Open, 2025 RBC Heritage, 2026 RBC Heritage).
Fitz is one of two players with three wins this season (other: Chris Gotterup). Gotterup is T-4 but only one off the lead.
