NORTH BERWICK (Scotland) - Rory McIlroy (T1/-11), the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open champion, shares the tournament lead with Chris Gotterup following Mclroy’s a 4-under 66. McIlroy could become the first player to win the Masters Tournament and Genesis Scottish Open in the same season.
McIlroy is in search of his 30th win on TOUR, which would move him to T16 (with Horton Smith) on the all-time wins list.
Chris Gotterup (T1/-11) is tied with McIlroy, one day after tying the course record with a 61, he carded an even-par 70. Gotterup held a third-round lead/co-lead for the second time (2024 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic where he won).

Due to lightning in the area, play was suspended at 1:24 p.m. ET and resumed at 3 p.m., a delay of 1 hour, 36 minutes.
