NORTH BERWICK (Scotland) - Chris Gotterup (1st/-11) tied the course record at The Renaissance Club with a (61) (Bernd Wiesberger/2019/R2, Cameron Tringale/2022/R1, Byeong Hun An/2023/R1, Richard Mansell/2024/R4 - held previous record)
Gotterup topped his previous-best round on the PGA TOUR by two strokes (63/R1/2025 Puerto Rico Open). At 129, he set a personal-best 36-hole score on TOUR.
Notes:
Harry Hall (2nd/-9) seeks his second PGA TOUR victory in his 84th start. Hall won the ISCO Championship this same week a year ago (won on July 14, 2024).
Rory McIlroy (T6/-7) posts a second-round 5-under 65 in bid to become the first player to win the Masters and Genesis Scottish Open in the same season. After closing the first round with three straight birdies, McIlroy birdied five of his first seven holes to start round two.

Notes on ISCO Championship:
Chan Kim eagled the par-4 fourth hole for the second straight day, this time with a 36-yard chip in a 2-under (68) that opened his lead to five strokes Friday in the ISCO Championship. On Thursday at Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville, Kim holed out from 123 yards on No. 4 and shot a (61) to take a four-shot lead in the opposite-field (JV) PGA Tour event also sanctioned by the European tour but staged opposite the Scottish Open.
The 36-Hole Cut: In Louisville, 67 professionals and one amateur at 1-over 141 will play the weekend from a field of 154 professionals and two amateurs. 1-over is the highest 36-hole cut (to par) in the 10-year history of the ISCO Championship.
