NORTH BERWICK (Scotland) - Chris Gotterup (-15) won the Genesis Scottish Open by two strokes over fellow 54-hole co-leader Rory McIlroy. Gotterup won his second PGA TOUR title (2024 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic) in his 62nd start at the age of 25 years, 11 months, 23 days.
Gotterup collected 500 points and is projected to move to No. 39 in the FedExCup standings and to move from No. 158 into the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
Notes:
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (T8) has finished inside the top 25 in all 15 starts this season, with 10 consecutive top-10 finishes.
One week before defending his 2024 Open Championship victory, Xander Schauffele finishes T8.
Defending champion Robert MacIntyre finishes T65.

William Mouw (1st/-10) earned his first win on TOUR in his 20th start at the age of 24 years, 10 months, 8 days. Entering this week, his lone Top-10 finish on TOUR was T6 (2025 Puerto Rico Open).
Mouw’s seven-stroke comeback is the largest final-round comeback on TOUR since the 2023 Sentry (Jon Rahm/7 strokes).
