@PGATourBrunch - Streb Holds Three-Stroke Lead after 54 Holes
TOURNAMENT NOTES
Robert Streb shot a three-under (67) and tied the record for largest 54-hole lead in RSM Classic tournament history (Kevin Kisner 2015 and Austin Cook 2017).
Saint Simons Island resident Zach Johnson tied the day’s low score of 5-under (65) with a 31’11” birdie on his last hole and is in position for his first RSM Classic title in 11th attempt.
Bronson Burgoon made five birdies on a 6-hole stretch in bid for his first career PGA Tour victory in 97th start. He’s three back.
The RSM Classic’s purse is $6,600,000 with the tournament winner cashing $1,188,000. Winner received 500 FedEx Cup points, too.
