Final Round Coverage of the 2026 Rocket Mortgage Classic | DET
DETROIT - It was Moving Day at the Rocket Mortgage Classic and Davis Riley made his move. Meanwhile, Rasmus Højgaard did some moving. and Michael Brennan continued his move. The three golfers are atop the 54-hole leaderboard.
Davis Riley (1st/-15) earned his fourth career 54-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR and second of the season: 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii (finished T6), 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge (Won), 2022 Valspar Championship (finished 2nd)
Riley hit 17-of-18 greens en route to bogey-free 63, his second consecutive day bogey free; one stroke shy of tying his careerlow 62 from the 2022 Valspar Championship (R3). His 54-hole score of 195 ties his career best in individual stroke play (2022 Valspar Championship). Riley ranks third this week in Strokes Gained: Putting (6.671).
After making the cut on the number, Denmark’s Rasmus Højgaard (T3/-12) carded the low round of the day with a bogey free (61), marking a new career low in his 183rd round on TOUR (previous: 63, 2024 Genesis Scottish Open/R2); led the field in the third round in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green (3.555) and ranked second in Strokes Gained: Putting (3.788);
This tournament marks his second-best 54-hole position in 59 career PGA TOUR starts (best: T2/2025 WM Phoenix Open/finished T12).
Michael Brennan (2nd/-14) opened the third round with four birdies in his first five holes and at 7-under through 17 holes before recording his lone bogey of the day on the par-4 18th.
Brennan ranks second this week in Strokes Gained: Approach the Green (6.859) and fourth in Strokes Gained: Putting (6.447) and he’s seeking his second PGA TOUR title in his 28th career start on TOUR.

August 2, 2023 - Then-PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan and the Tour’s player members, Player Directors and Player Advisory Council members announced a new agreement to ensure that the TOUR lives up to its mission of being a player-driven organization, “for the players, by the players.” As part of the new transparency and governance measures in the agreement, Tiger Woods was named to the TOUR Policy Board as a sixth Player Director.
