CALEDON (Ontario) - Bud Cauley (Winner/-17) earned his first PGA TOUR victory in 239th career start at the age 36 years, 2 months, 29 days. His previous best finish on TOUR: 3rd, four times, most recently: 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge.
Cauley became the 18th first-time winner at the tournament and first since Robert MacIntyre in 2024. He also became the first American to earn his first career win at this event since Chez Reavie in 2008.

June 15, 1980 -Jack Nicklaus set a new tournament scoring record and won his fourth U.S. Open championship. With the Baltusrol Golf Club as the setting, Nicklaus set a tournament scoring record of (272), breaking his own record of (275) set in 1967 (also at Baltrusol).
