On This Day in Golf History:
April 17, 1988 - Greg Norman comes from four strokes back to claim a one-stroke victory at The Heritage Classic at Hilton Head. Norman gained inspiration for 17-year old Jamie Hutton, stricken with leukemia, who walked 18-holes at the final round where Norman posted a (66) to win. Norman gave the winners plaque and the famed “tartan jacket” to Hutton after the victory. - Courtesy of Randy Walker, Author of On This Day in Golf History, available via Amazon.com and by clicking HERE
