HILTON HEAD - Si Woo Kim holds his sixth career 54-hole lead/co-lead and first since 2023 Memorial Tournament presented by Workday (finished 4th). He’s 2-for-5 converting third round leads to victory (2016 Wyndham Championship, 2021 American Express).
Si Woo Kim has four victories in 281 starts in his PGA Tour career to date: The 2016 Wyndham Championship, 2017 PLAYERS Championship, 2021 American Express, and 2023 Sony Open in Hawaii. He lost in a playoff to Satoshi Kodaira in 2018 for his lone Top-10 finish in eight starts at the RBC Heritage.
Andrew Novak (T2/-14) can become the 15th first-time winner of the event and first since C.T. Pan in 2019. He would be the first player to win in his first RBC Heritage start since Satoshi Kodaira in 2018. Novak’s best finish in 98 starts came at the 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship (2nd).
Since capturing his first victory at the season-ending 2024 RSM Classic, Maverick McNealy (4th/-13) has added four Top-10 finishes this season (2nd/The Genesis Invitational, T3/Valero Texas Open, T8/The Sentry, T9/WM Phoenix Open); has never shot higher than 66 in the third round at the RBC Heritage (66/2020, 66/2021, 65/2022, 65/2025).
After holding the outright lead in the first two rounds, 15-time PGA TOUR winner Justin Thomas (T2/-14) cards second consecutive 69 to trail Si Woo Kim by one; seeking to become the first 18-hole leader/co-leader to win this season. Thomas made his 250th start on the PGA TOUR and 59th since most recent victory at the 2022 PGA Championship.
