Corey Conners, an RBC Ambassador and Listowel, Canada native, ,is making is 11th start in the RBC Canadian Open where he was awarded the Rivermead Cup as low Canadian two times (6th/2022, 6th/2024). Connors enters the week as the highest-ranked Canadian player in the world at No. 54 in the OWGR.

June 11, 1953 - Arnold Palmer, a 23-year old from nearby Latrobe, Pennsylvania, made his debut at the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club. Palmer shot an opening round (84) and followed with a second-round (78) and missed the cut by nine shots.
