CALEDON (Ontario) - Robert MacIntyre won the 2024 RBC Canadian Open by one stroke over Ben Griffin at Hamilton Golf & Country Club, earning his first career PGA TOUR title in his 45th start. MacIntyre became the 17th player to make the RBC Canadian Open his first win on TOUR and first since Nathan Green in 2009.
This year, the RBC is at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (North Course) in Caledon, Ontario which will host the tournament for the first time, becoming the 38th golf course in tournament history (and only the eighth since 1977) to host the RBC Canadian Open.
In 2023, the Doug Carrick-designed North Course underwent a major golf course renovation under the guidance of renowned architect Ian Andrew with consultation from the PGA TOUR for the venue to host large-scale, global championship level competition.
There are 21 Canadians in the field, seven of which have won on TOUR: Mike Weir (8), Nick Taylor (5), Corey Conners (2), Mackenzie Hughes (2), Adam Hadwin, Taylor Pendrith, Adam Svensson.
A total of 26 players in the field competed last week the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday.
