ROYAL BIRKDALE - Jackson Suber (1st/-5), at his Open Championship debut, opened with a 5-under (65), highlighted by an eagle on No. 17. Suber is one of 44 players in the field making their Open Championship debut .

Information on the Puntacana Championship
The 2026 Corales Puntacana Championship marks the ninth playing of the PGA TOUR’s first and only tournament in the Dominican Republic. The Corales Puntacana Championship has been co-sanctioned by the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour since 2022 as part of the Strategic Alliance between both Tours. The winner will receive 300 FedExCup points and a two-year exemption on the PGA TOUR, if not already exempt.
