PGA Tour Brunch Looks at Brooks Koepka's Win at Oak Hill
ROCHESTER - Brooks Koepka earned his fifth career major championship title and third PGA Championship victory (2018, 2019, 2023) with his steady weekend performances, scoring (66), (67) to won by two strokes.
Scottie Scheffler earned his second career runner-up at a major and returns to No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
Norway’s Viktor Hovland finished Top 10 for third straight major. Hovland was the only player in field to post four rounds at even-par or better Scheffler, Hovland are the only two players to finish in the Top 10 in first three 600-point FedEx Cup events of season:
Scheffler: Win/THE PLAYERS Championship, T10/Masters Tournament, T2/PGA Championship
Hovland: T3/THE PLAYERS Championship, T7/Masters Tournament, T2/PGA Championship
Michael Block recorded the best finish by PGA professional since 1986 and his T-15 guarantees him a spot in 2024 PGA Championship. Block - already a crowd favorite - thrilled the onlookers at No. 15 with an ace.
Cam Davis, Kurt Kitayama, Scheffler, Cameron Smith and Sepp Straka recorded tournament-low rounds (65).
Min Woo Lee and Ryan Fox earn Special Temporary Membership on the Tour.
