ORLANDO - Kurt Kitayama holds his third 36-hole lead/co-lead of the season, the most of any player and is the first player to record a (68) or better in each of the first two rounds of the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard since Keegan Bradley in 2019.
The 13-time PGA Tour winner Jordan Spieth is two strokes back in his second start at the event (T-4) in 2021.
Viktor Hovland made his fourth career hole-in-one at No. 7, the most of any player competing this season. It’s a Tour-best third ace since the start of the 2021-22 season).
Ludvig Aberg, No. 1 in the PGA TOUR University Velocity Global Ranking, stands T9, the best 36-hole position of any amateur in a Tour event since Chris Gotterup at the 2022 Puerto Rico Open (T-6).
First-round leader and World No. 1 Jon Rahm carded a 4-over (76), his highest score since the 2022 PGA Championship (76) in R-3.
