First Round Preview of 2025 John Deere Classic | TPC Deere Run
SILVIS - All eyes will be on Rickie Fowler at this week’s John Deere Classic. Fowler is making his second start at the John Deere Classic and first appearance since 2010 (MC) when he played as a PGA TOUR rookie.
Fowler is a six-time PGA TOUR winner, looking for first victory since the 2023 Rocket Classic. In 14 starts this season, he owns five Top-25 finishes, including one Top-10 (T7/the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday).
But, Fowler enters the week at No. 72 in the FedEx Cup standings and is playing the final year of his tournament winners exemption.
Inside the John Deere Classic field:
Six past champions of the John Deere Classic in the field: Dylan Frittelli (2019), Lucas Glover (2021), Zach Johnson (2012), Michael Kim (2018), J.T. Poston (2022), Davis Thompson (2024).
