SILVIS - Playoffs ‘R Us, says the PGA Tour. Brian Campbell (Winner/-18), a University of Illinois alum, earned his second PGA TOUR title of career in his 41st start at the age of 32 years, 4 months.
Campbell also earned first PGA TOUR victory in a playoff, but that one was over Aldrich Potgieter at the 2025 Mexico Open at Vidanta World which makes him the sixth multiple winner on TOUR this season (Rory McIlroy/3, Scottie Scheffler/3, Ryan Fox/2, Ben Griffin/2, Sepp Straka/2).
Campbell earned 500 FedExCup points and moves from No. 59 to No. 28 in the FedExCup standings while moving from No. 115 to No. 55 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
Campbell defeated Argentina’s Emiliano Grillo (P2/-18) who recorded the seventh runner-up of his career (most recent: 2022 3M Open) and second runner-up at the John Deere Classic (T2/2022). Grillo moved up 41 spots to No. 64 in the FedEx Cup standings.
