First Round Coverage of 2025 Scottish Open | ISCO Championship Notes
NORTH BERWICK (Scotland) - The 2025 Genesis Scottish Open will tee-it-up in about two hours. The PGA Tour’s secondary tournament, the ISCO Championship, will begin at regular times in the USA time zones.
Rory McIlroy can become the first player to win the Masters Tournament and Genesis Scottish Open in the same season. McIlroy, the World No. 2, has finished inside the Top Five in the last two TOUR events at the Genesis Scottish Open (Won/2023, T4/2024).
Notes:
The field of 156 players includes eight of the Top 10 and 24 of the Top 50 from the Official World Golf Rankings.
All six champions from The Renaissance Club events of the past are from different countries (Scotland, Northern Ireland, USA, Australia, England and Austria).
The ISCO Championship will have a $4,000,000 purse ($720,000/winner) with 300 FedEx Cup points to the winner.
J.B. Holmes, a 43-year-old Campbellsville, Kentucky native, will make his first appearance at the ISCO Championship and his first PGA TOUR start since the 2024 Bank of Utah Championship when he had to WD during first round. Holmes made 11 starts on TOUR last season with one made cut (T50/Procore Championship)
