PACIFIC PALISADES - The 2021 Genesis Invitational winner, Max Homa, holds the 36-hole led/co-lead for the second time on TOUR (2022 Fortinet Championship/Won). Keith Mitchell notches 49 putts through 36 holes, his first time with less than 50 putts through 36 holes at any TOUR event
World No. 3 Jon Rahm holds the TOUR's longest active cuts made streak (24). Rahm (No. 1 in FedEx Cup Standings) and Homa (No. 2 in the FedEx Cup), are the only multiple winners on TOUR this season.
Lee Hodges is the only player among those at 5-under or better on the leaderboard yet to win on Tour.
Collin Morikawa posted his sixth consecutive round in the 60s at Riviera Country Club in search of his first win since 2021.
Rory McIlroy is seeking his second victory in third start this season (THE CJ CUP in South Carolina).
Tiger Woods dropped three shots in his last four holes to finish 1-over, currently projected inside the cut line.

On This Day in Golf History
February 18, 1995 - Defending champion Scott Hoch participated in one of the most famous groupings of all-time at the Bob Hope Desert Classic when he played with Bill Clinton, the sitting President of the United States and they were joined by Presidents George H.W. Bush and Gerald Ford. Bush shot a (92), and defeated defeated Clinton by a stroke. Ford was eight strokes back. Hoch shot a (70).
