Rocket Mortgage Classic: Final Round Notes

Co-leader Joaquin Niemann is bogey-free through 54 holes in bid for second career PGA Tour victory. The last player player to go 72 holes without a bogey and proceed to win a tournament was J.T. Poston at the 2019 Wyndham Championship.

Co-leader Troy Merritt drained his first career PGA Tour ace at the par-3 11th hole en route to his fourth career 54-hole lead/co-lead. Merritt is two-for-three with the 54-hole lead/co-lead in stroke-play events on the Tour.

Following missed cuts in the 2019 and 2020 Rocket Mortgage Classic, Hank Lebioda (T-3) at (-13) has three top-10 finishes in his career, including a T-5 at last week’s Travelers Championship. His best finish in 62 Tour starts is T-3 at the 2019 Bermuda Championship.

Final Round Tee Times today at 7:35am (EDT) through 2:05pm (EDT) when the leaders tee-off.

Weather: The Sunday forecast is for partly/mostly cloudy skies with temperatures ranging from 77-88 degrees. Sixty-five percent humidity dropping to 46% by 4pm (EDT). Winds are 3-6 mph.
