MEMPHIS - In the first of three FedEx Cup Playoff events, Tommy Fleetwood (1st/-13) shot a low (127) Thur-Fri which marks his low 36-hole total on the PGA TOUR (previous: 129/2018 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational).
Fleetwood currently leads the tournament b y four strokes and when R-2 concludes, Fleetwood could hold his sixth 36-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR and second this season (Travelers Championship) where he finished T2.
Fleetwood hit 24/28 (85.71%) fairways thru 36-holes, his highest driving accuracy thru 36-holes in his PGA TOUR career (previous: 69.44%, 2 times, most recent: 2024 BMW Championship).
At No. 9, Fleetwood is the highest-ranked player in the FedEx Cup standings without a victory on the PGA TOUR.
Collin Morikawa (-9) carded a bogey-free (65), tied for his lowest round in seven career starts in the FedEx St. Jude Championship (65/R1/2023/finished T13). The six-time PGA TOUR winner is seeking his first victory since the 2023 Baycurrent Classic.
Our 18-hole leader Akshay Bhatia (-9) followed his career low 8-under (62), with a second round (69). The two-time PGA TOUR winner is making his second career start at the FedEx St. Jude Championship (T12/2024) and has three Top-10 finishes this season (T9/Genesis Invitational, 9th/Mexico Open at VidantaWorld, T3/PLAYERS Championship).

11-time PGA TOUR winner Justin Rose currently trails Tommy Fleetwood by four strokes with two holes left to play in his second round. This marks Rose’s 18th time qualifying for the playoffs in his 19th season on TOUR.
