LaJOLLA - Sam Ryder holds the 36-hole lead/co-lead for the first time in career, his 147th start on Tour.

In his 11th appearance at Farmers Insurance Open, Brendan Steele is seeking his fourth title on Tour while at 5-under), Tano Goya shared low round of the day (67) with Jon Rahm, both at the North Course

With rounds of 73-67, 2017 champion Jon Rahm extended the longest active cuts-made streak to 22.

Second-round scoring average at South Course: 75.895 after 72.218 in round one; North Course: R2/73.179, R1/69.731

January 27, 2008 - Tiger Woods sank a 10-foot birdie on the 18th hole to shoot a 1-under (71) and clinch an 8-shot victory at the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines. It marked his fourth consecutive title at Torrey Pines.
