McKINNEY, TEXAS - On the 18th and final hole, Canada’s Taylor Pendrith watched Ben Kohles miss a five-foot par putt which would’ve forced a likely playoff at the CJ CUP Byron Nelson, but it went wide, allowing Pendrith to step-up and sink a tournament winning birdie.
Pendrith finished with a (67) and at (-23) while Kohles had to settle for a very disappointing second place at (-22). Pendrith’s round of (63) on Saturday made the difference.
