PGA Tour Brunch Wrap-Up of '26 Charles Schwab Challenge
FT. WORTH - Russell Henley (Winner/-12) defeated Eric Cole in a playoff to win his sixth PGA TOUR title in his 321st start at the age of 37 years, 1 month, 19 days. Henley improved to 2-1 in playoffs.
In his TOUR playoffs, Henley finished:
2014 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches (defeated Russell Knox, Rory McIlroy, Ryan Palmer)
2022 Sony Open in Hawaii (lost to Hideki Matsuyama)
2026 Charles Schwab Challenge (defeated Eric Cole)

Henley entered the final round three shots back from the lead, birdied his final three holes to tie and force the playoff. He became the second winner of the Charles Schwab Challenge to make birdie or better on the final three holes with the other being Jordan Spieth/2016).
Henley won 500 FedEx Cup points and moved from No. 26 to No. 11 in the FedEx Cup season-long standings.

On This Day in Golf History
June 2, 1922 - Charlie Sifford, the first African-American to play on the PGA Tour, was born on this date. He would go on to win the Greater Hartford Open in 1967 and the Los Angeles Open in 1969. Sifford first attempted to play on the Tour in 1952 in Phoenix. He became a member in 1961.
