PGA Tour Brunch Coverage of Round 2 of the Charles Schwab Challenge
DALLAS/FORT WORTH - Following his career-low 8-under (62), PGA Tour Rookie Harry Hall holds the first-round lead at the Charles Schwab Challenge by three strokes over veteran Harris English. Hall holds the lead for the first time after any round in only his 26th PGA Tour start.
Defending champion Sam Burns opened with a 3-under (67) in bid to join Ben Hogan as players to successfully defend the tournament’s title.
Playing alongside Burns, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler carded a 3-under (67)
Four-time PGA Tour winner Harris English posted 5-under (65), equaling his best start in eight appearances at the event (65/2012). English has two Top-five finishes at Colonial Country Club (2nd/2016, T5/2012).
Jordan Spieth opened with an over-par round (72) for the first time in 11 starts at the event
The hammer fell on Sponsor Exemption Michael Block who carded an 11-over (81).

May 26, 2013 - Boo Weekley adds his third “tartan jacket” to his wardrobe, winning the sport coat as champion of the Colonial Invitational. Weekley shot a final round (66) to win by one stroke over Matt Kuchar.
