Justin Thomas has 16 PGA TOUR wins, the most of any player in the field. Thomas’ most recent victory came at the 2025 RBC Heritage. The 2017 FedEx Cup champion is currently No. 38 in the FedEx Cup standings.

Georgia Tech sophomore and native of Sweden, Albert Hansson, won the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational presented by Charles Schwab at Colonial in September in a five-man playoff, earning him a spot in the field for his PGA TOUR debut.

May 28, 1950 - Sam Snead shot a final round (73) to hold-on and win the Colonial National Invitational Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas, defeating Skip Alexander by three strokes.
