FT. WORTH - Ben Griffin (-12) earns his second PGA TOUR victory in his 94th start at the age of 29 years, 19 days. He picked-up first individual victory on TOUR (2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans with partner Andrew Novak) earlier this season and is now the fourth multiple winner on TOUR in 2025, joining Rory McIlroy (3), Scottie Scheffler (2) and Sepp Straka (2).
Griffin became the fourth player to win a stroke-play and team event in the same season since the Zurich Classic of New Orleans became a team event in 2017 and first since Rory McIlroy (2024).
Griffin became the fourth player to eagle the first hole in the final round and win on TOUR (since 1983):

Griffin played the first three holes (Nos. 1-3) at Colonial Country Club at 10-under for the week.
Our 36- and 54-hole co-leader, Matti Schmid (2nd/-11), finished with a career-best runner-up in his 79th start. His previous best: T3/2024 Shriners Children’s Open, 3rd/2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship). Schmid will make his first signature event start at this week’s Memorial Tournament presented by Workday.
