On This Day in Golf History
May 4th - A day globally celebrated as Star Wars Day, driven by the pun “May the 4th be with you,” a play on the iconic “May the Force be with you” phrase. Originating from a 1979 newspaper note to Margaret Thatcher, it became a fan-driven, then official, holiday marked by screenings, merchandise, and social media celebration.
