The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am - Tournament Preview
PEBBLE BEACH - The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am returns to its traditional pro-am format after the 2021 event was played with professionals only and two courses due to COVID-19 restrictions. This week we’ll see 156 professionals and 156 amateurs in a team format, with the tournament is played across three golf courses: Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Monterey Peninsula Country Club (Shore Course).
Pebble Beach Golf Links has been in the multiple course rotation at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am since 1947, making it the second-longest running host venue (non-major) on the PGA TOUR behind Colonial Country Club (1946) host of the Charles Schwab Challenge. AT&T joined as title sponsor in 1986, making it the second longest title sponsor behind Honda (The Honda Classic, 1982).
The 2022 Pebble beach field includes nine of the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking.
The Basics:
The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am Tee Times start Thursday at 9:58am (local)/12:58pm (ET) and going to 10:09am (local)/1:09pm (ET).
Weather: Partly cloudy and 55-degrees for the opening round with winds seven mph and a 10% chance of rain (link)

On This Day in Golf History:
February 2, 1992 - Mark O’Meara won his record fourth AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro Am with a par on the first hole of a sudden death playoff against Jeff Sluman. O’Meara had made a 35-foot birdie putt on the 18th and was followed to the hole by Sluman who drained an 18-foot putt to force the playoff. - Courtesy of Randy Walker, Author of On This Day in Golf History, available via Amazon.com and by clicking HERE
