Third Round Coverage of the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am
By TERRY LYONS, Editor of Digital Sports Desk
PEBBLE BEACH - Akshay Bhatia (T1/-15) carded a bogey-free (64), highlighted by an eagle on No. 14 at Spyglass Hill Golf Course. The 2024 Rocket Classic was the only other time he’s gone bogey-free thru 36 holes in his PGA TOUR career (595 days ago).
Bhatia holds his fourth 36-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR (most recent: 2025 PLAYERS Championship/finished T3) and is 1-for-3 on converting a 36-hole lead to a victory (2024 Valero Texas Open/Won, 2024 Rocket Classic/T2).
Ryo Hisatsune (T1/-15) carded a 5-under (67) in the second round after opening with a career-best (62) at Pebble Beach Golf Links. He holds back-to-back 36-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR (2026 WM Phoenix Open/finished T10). His (129) marks his career low 36-hole score on TOUR with the previous best being a (131) at last week’s 2026 WM Phoenix Open where he finished T10).
Hisatsune earned his best career finish on TOUR earlier this season with a runner-up at the Farmers Insurance Open. He qualified for this tournament via the Aon Swing 5 (No. 2) and punched his ticket to next week’s Genesis Invitational, as well.
Rickie Fowler (T3/-14) carded a second-round (64), setting his lowest score on Spyglass Hill Golf Course in five career rounds. His previous best was a (67), 2024/R1/finished T47). Fowler’s 8-under matched Bhatia with low round of the day at Spyglass Hill.
Five-time TOUR winner Sam Burns (T3/-14) recorded a 5-under (67) in the second round. He owns two Top-25 finishes in three appearances at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (10th/2024, T22/2025).
At 20-under, Keegan Bradley/Mary Meeker won the Pro-Am portion of the this week’s competition.
Note: This event is played over two courses (Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course), with amateurs competing alongside professionals the first two rounds which concluded yesterday. The competition is limited to professionals only over the final two rounds at Pebble Beach.
