PEBBLE BEACH - The storylines read, “Scottie’s Back” but they should’ve said, “Rory’s Back.”
Rory McIlroy earned his 27th career PGA TOUR title in his 258th start at the age of 35 years, 8 months, 29 days and moved to 22nd on the all-time PGA TOUR wins list, breaking a tie with Henry Picard (26 wins).
It was McIlroy’s third time winning in his season debut on TOUR (2021 THE CJ CUP, 2022 THE CJ CUP, 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am) and his second win in a Signature Event (2024 Truist Championship).
This is McIlroy’s eighth consecutive season with a win on TOUR.
To secure his victory, McIlroy played the final nine holes 5-under par with three birdies (Nos. 10, 12, 15) and one eagle (par-5 No. 14). His 21-under marked the second-lowest score relative to par by a winner at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am since 1983 (22-under/Brandt Snedeker/2015).
In his season debut, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (T9/-15) recorded his second straight Top-10 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (T6/2024).
Adam Scott (T22/-10) posted the low round of the final day, a bogey-free (64), tied for his lowest 18-hole score in 17 career rounds at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (64/2010/R3).
