BLAINE, (Minn) - Jackson Koivun (1st/-25) earned his first PGA TOUR title in his 13th career start (third as a professional) at the age of 21 years, 2 months, 3 days.
Koivun entered the final round with a three-stroke lead and carded a bogey-free (66) to claim the three-stroke win over World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. Koivun is the youngest player to win on TOUR since Aldrich Potgieter (20 years, 9 months, 16 days) at the 2025 Rocket Classic and the youngest American player to win a PGA TOUR event by multiple strokes since the 1932 WM Phoenix Open (Ralph Guldahl).
3M Open | Notes
Scottie Scheffler (2nd/-22) entered the final-round six shots and cards a bogey-free 63 to finish solo-second, his fifth runner-up finish this season; marks his 15th runner-up and 87th top-10 in 167 career starts on TOUR; 2026 FedExCup leader increases his lead in the standings, 794 points ahead of Matt Fitzpatrick; leads all players with 11 top-five finishes this season (next best: 7, Matt Fitzpatrick).
Hideki Matsuyama (T3/-20) followed his first-round 70 with rounds of 65-65-64 to clinch his third top-10 finish of the season (P2/WM Phoenix Open, T3/3M Open, T8/AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am); cards a 6-under 30 on the back nine in the final round, highlighted by a birdie-eagle finish on Nos. 17-18; led the field this week in Strokes Gained: Around the Green with (8.170).
